It all started in 1907 in France, when Eugène Schneller patented a formula for safely dyeing blonde hair. Taking advantage of the popularity and wanting to implement numerous ideas, in 1909 he founded the company, which only thirty years later adopted the name L'Oreal. Currently, L'Oreal SA is a cosmetics concern based in Clichy. The L'Oreal group consists of professional, popular, selective and active cosmetics brands, and the most important among popular brands is L'Oreal Paris.
