PEH balance with products from Anwen - is this the way to beautiful hair?
What is conscious hair care? It is first and foremost realising that every hair is absolutely unique! Most of the time, we choose the care we need to keep our hair healthy, strong and beautiful by trial and error. We reach for random shampoos and conditioners whose effectiveness and dazzling results are advertised. Thanks to blog entries and Anwen's products, we can easily determine the porosity of our hair and no longer spend money on unnecessary products.
The hair shaft consists of cysteine and fatty acids. These form the outer layer of the hair, which has a protective function. Porosity refers to the hair shaft's ability to absorb moisture. Very often this is simply determined by genetic predisposition. Unfortunately, by subjecting our hair to a number of hairdressing treatments during our lifetime, we change the natural porosity of our hair.
There are three degrees of porosity:
· Low-porosity hair - resistant to damage and styling. They are naturally healthy and shiny. They are easily weighed down and tend to become greasy more quickly. Difficult and long drying after washing.
· Medium-porosity hair - hair that is most often described as 'normal'. It is neither too dry nor too smooth. Often has a wavy tendency. It can be styled in many different ways. It can be frizzy and difficult to comb.
· Highly porosity hair - this is usually curly, coloured and bleached hair. It is dry, rough and brittle by nature. It absorbs water and cosmetics quickly. This hair is often frizzy.
Daily hair care, from washing to styling, can make a difference to the structure of our hair. By choosing the right balance of Anwen cosmetics, we can provide our hair with everything it needs.
The PEH balance is:
- proteins - rebuild and reconstruct the hair;
- humectants - have a moisturising effect;
- emollients - smooth, nourish and retain beneficial substances in the hair.
Anwen's products strike a balance between all these factors. This makes hair care much easier. All the more so as the packaging includes detailed instructions on how to use the products.
Humectants should be used 1-2 times a week. Proteins are the main building blocks of hair and should be used once a week or less frequently. Emollients should be used most often, even after every wash regardless of hair type.
You can find all the ingredients listed in Anwen's cosmetics in the eZebra online shop. By purchasing the right products, your hair will finally be full of life and shine. You can test Anwen products in different sets and quantities, depending on how your hair reacts to them.
