Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian fashion house founded by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in 1985. Their designs have always been inspired by Italian style. The region closest to their aesthetic tastes seems to be Sicily, where Domenico Dolce comes from. However, the vivid colours and expressive patterns typical of this region of Italy have also seduced Stefano Gabbana – both gentlemen have long been fond of rich decorations, strong colours and plastic patterns and in this respect they do not agree to any compromises. Dolce and Gabbana approached fragrances in a similar way to the issue of clothing – with sentiment and precision. Each perfume bottle contains truly Italian secrets, of which only a part can be discovered. The designers openly admit that in each of the fragrances they try to extract a bit of their own homeland. Therefore, you can often feel orange and lemon blossoms, Italian bergamot or blackcurrant in them.
