Hydrex Super Sensitive hCG Midstream Pregnancy Test is an immunological test for self-testing. The boxed kit includes all the components and reagents needed to carry out the test correctly, making it quick and easy to use.
With a sensitivity of 10 mIU/ml, the Hydrex Pink hCG midstream test can detect very early pregnancy, up to 6 days after fertilisation. The reagent detects whether the urine sample contains the hCG hormone, which appears in a woman's body shortly after fertilisation. In a normal pregnancy, hCG may be detectable in a sample as early as 2–4 days after fertilisation. This provides grounds for an early diagnosis of pregnancy. The test takes no more than 2 minutes to carry out; read the result within 5 minutes.

The pouch also contains a moisture-absorbing sachet, which should be thrown away with household rubbish.
Remove the cap and hold the test tip in the urine stream for at least 10 seconds. Alternatively, collect urine in a clean, dry container and dip just the test tip into it for at least 10 seconds.
After taking the test tip out of the urine, replace the cap and place the test on a flat surface with both result windows visible. Watch the urine sample move through the test (T) and control (C) areas. Wait for coloured lines to appear in the windows.
Read the result 1–4 minutes after dipping the test tip in the urine. If no coloured line appears, wait for a further minute.
